Who processes what
Each cleaning company that buys VirtuClean Ops is the responsible party for its own client and team information. The operator of this platform hosts isolated workspaces and acts as an operator / processor on that company’s instruction. Contact the operator at hello@directoryplus.co.za. Appoint an information officer in your own company for your clients and staff.
Isolation
One company equals one dedicated app process, one Postgres database, and one data volume. Companies never share customers, cleaners, or bookings. Session tokens from one workspace cannot be used on another.
What we collect when you buy the software
When you request a workspace we collect company name, chosen hostname, owner email, username, and the plan you ordered. We keep the payment reference and EFT confirmation so we can activate the tenant. We do not store card numbers. There is no card checkout.
What each company collects
A live workspace may hold account emails, names, phone numbers, addresses, booking notes, messages, and (if uploaded) team identity documents. Those records belong to that company. Documents are encrypted at rest on that company’s volume.
Consent and deletion
Clients and team members give POPIA consent when they register on a company workspace. Deleting an account anonymises personal fields attached to it. When a company is deprovisioned, the operator deletes that database and volume after the retention window in the terms (normally 30 days unless a longer legal hold applies).
Sessions
Idle sessions expire after 15 minutes. Public self-registration stays off until the company owner enables it.
Demonstration workspace
https://demo.directoryplus.co.za/demo is a sample company with fictional bookings. It exists so prospects can walk the product. Do not enter real personal information there. Demonstration data is not a customer record.
VirtuClean Ops does not publish a vendor WhatsApp number. A company may add its own number in Admin → Settings. Until that number is set, WhatsApp handoff stays off.
